Children’s Corner Preschool is a family-owned business that has been in Millcreek for 38 years. Bob and Kathy Whyte started Children’s Corner to ensure their three children would have a safe place to go during the day. It has remained a family business with their two daughters, Jen and Jessie, taking over as directors.
Children’s Corner takes a developmental approach to education, with emphasis on the individual child’s social and emotional needs. The child’s unique abilities are fostered by our teachers, while also introducing new concepts and interests for them to explore. Flexibility in our programming, along with a balance of activities allows for optimal growth in our students.
Our teachers are all well experienced, with several of them having attended Children’s Corner themselves. This legacy only adds to the family feel we take such in.
We offer preschool for ages 2-5 as well as afternoon kindergarten. We also offer after school care for ages 5-12. In the summer, we offer a great summer camp full of exciting trips and activities.
